Yes. Weekend first aid courses are available at many of our training centres.
For nationally recognised first aid certification, practical assessment is a must. This takes place in a classroom environment. We've introduced eLearning to all of our first aid courses to reduce the face-to-face time and fast-track your certification.
To learn CPR in your own home, one option would be to organise a group first aid course by gathering together some workmates, friends, or family members. Then simply get in touch with our team to book in your group first aid training.
Yes. Safe Work Australia recommends annual renewal of HLTAID009 Provide CPR certificates. Refresher courses instil confidence and help remove doubt – critical when CPR is needed. They also enable you to update your knowledge and skills after medical advances are made. Renewal every 3 years is recommended for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting certificates.
The minimum age for first aid accreditation is 14 years. The theory and practical aspects of first aid training present few, if any, difficulties, but would depend on the student's level of education and physical ability.
